Berea Lodge, #617
The Master, Wardens and Brothers of Berea Lodge, #617, F. & A. M., in Berea, "The Arts & Crafts Capitol Of Kentucky," cordially invite all Good Masons and True to visit us at our regularly stated communications, which are held on the first Monday and the third Friday of each month at 7:00 PM.  Berea Lodge is in the oldest standing Lodge building in Madison County, which dates back to 1928.  Berea Lodge is handicapped accessible, so there's no longer any need to worry about the stairs.  Along with obtaining the chairlift, our very active Trustees have been making Marvellous improvements, so that this beautiful old building has become quite a comfortable home for our Lodge.
ABOUT US
ABOUT FREEMASONRY
Work on the Knife and
Fork Degree commences  at 6:00 prior to each
meeting, so come take a meal with us.  We offer food fellowship and fun!
Freemasonry is not a religion, a cult or a secret society.  It is a Fraternity which attempts to unite good men in bonds of fellowship with the object of making them better men.  This is accomplished through lessons veiled in allegory in rituals which are steeped in antiquity, beauty, subtlety and meaning.  Moral lessons are inculcated, yet Masonry is not stuffy or aloof.  Masonry is a community of brothers, bound together by the common goals of of promoting Brotherly Love, Morality & Truth, through acts of Faith Hope & Charity.  Men of all faiths are welcome, for Masonry adopts no single dogma or creed.  Masonry only requires a belief in a supreme being; the rest is left to the individual's conscience.  Masonry is not political.  Men of various and diverse religious and political views are seated in brotherly love and affection under the all-seeing eye of our Creator as equals in Masonic Lodges.  If you want to know more, just ask.  I've met very few Masons who didn't love to talk about Masonry!
